Data Deletion Instructions
You can ask Bolt Deals to delete the personal information we hold about you at any time. Here is exactly how to do it, and how to remove data collected through the Meta Pixel and your own browser.
Request deletion from Bolt Deals
Bolt Deals does not have user accounts or logins, so there is nothing for you to sign into. To have your information deleted, just send us one email.
- Email benjamin@boltdeals.io with the subject line "Data Deletion Request."
- Send it from the email address you used with us, or tell us the name, email, or phone number you provided, so we can find your records.
- We will verify the request, delete your information, and email you to confirm within 30 days.
What we delete
When you ask, we remove the personal information we hold about you, including:
- Any form or booking submission you sent us (name, email, phone, and business details)
- Email correspondence and contact records tied to you
- Marketing-attribution records associated with your submission
We may keep a minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, and any information we are required to retain by law. We will not use your deleted information for any other purpose.
Remove data collected through the Meta Pixel
Our site uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which reports website activity to Meta for advertising measurement. Some of that data is held by Meta under their own policies. To remove or limit it:
- Open Off-Facebook activity in your Facebook settings to review and clear activity that businesses have shared with Meta, and to disconnect future activity.
- Adjust your Meta ad preferences to limit ad targeting.
- Email us at benjamin@boltdeals.io and we will remove you from any custom or retargeting audiences we manage.
Clear attribution data stored in your browser
Marketing-source data our site records (stored under a key named bolt_attr) lives in your browser's local storage on your own device. You can remove it yourself at any time:
- Clear your browsing data for boltdeals.io in your browser settings (choose "cookies and other site data" / "site data"), or
- Use your browser's developer tools to delete the bolt_attr entry under Local Storage for boltdeals.io.
Clearing this data removes it from your device. It does not affect any information you have already submitted to us, which you can have deleted using the email steps above.
